So the 1199 Panigale has been officially launched at Ducati dealers across the country. Many dealers have demo machines to test ride. So if you fancy taking the 195bhp beast out onto the UK roads to see how it feels then check in with your local dealer who can sort it out for you. Just be wary of the excess – reports of unto £3000 in some cases!

The latest-generation sports ABS system, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Electronic Suspension (DES), Ducati Quick-Shift (DQS), Ducati’s new race-derived Engine Brake Control (EBC) and Ride-by-Wire (RbW) are now all programmed into seamless, electronic rider assistance. Even the world’s most advanced LCD dashboard with the full colour Thin Film Transistor (TFT) display changes to suit the rider’s environment.
And it looks absolutely beautiful. This could be a game changer for Ducati.
