  1. could only be that I guess??

  2. Bit processional wasn’t it. Not much you can do barring widening the track by 10ft all the way round though!
Can only imagine how boring the cars must be round there.
On a side note if GI can win so convincingly round a natty little circuit like OP imagine the fun he’ll have when he gets the ducati out at Silverstone Donny et al

  3. Sportbike and Superteen races were pretty good, perhaps in part to the fact the bikes weren’t constantly fighting the circuit because they don’t have too much power

  4. Some of the support classes were pretty good this weekend. How long before the bikes in the main race are too big for these UK tracks

  7. Haha bloody hell.

  8. well it is really… in BSS anyway, albeit the tarted up one with less power than the 899 tri options bikes made!! (Due to the rules).

unfortunately I think BSB will implode in the next 5 years, probably a separate thread but the growing discontent for the ‘guy running it’ and the more sketchy scratching back stuff going on is going to kill it.

as Fagan and Ricky Elder described it, currently 17-18yr olds need to have £70k to do a season in supersport/superstock, but pedro Acosta was a world champ by 17… the UK system is broken

  9. They already are really.

  10. Its a shame we dont have ex world champions who want to put their time back into a sport that gave them so much. Fogarty and Toseland choosing to concentrate on their own public personas via different means and Hodgson getting paid nice money for airing his opinions on TV every other weekend.
We need someone to "do a Rossi ranch" or even a Kenan Sofuoglu squad set up imho.
    And back them financially.
We just need one of the 200 odd billionaires in the UK to get on board!

  11. Yeah, I think there is a lot happening in the uk that makes bikes just not something in young people’s interest, but, BSB has turned into something to line certain individuals pockets.

if you want a laugh… look up the tech rules for Superteen, you buy a zx4rr, but then look at the stuff you have to change, and what it has to be changed for….. for example the fuel cap must be changed, and must be changed for a lightech one bought through MSS, not just a non Locked cap, no, it must be the specific one so they are literally relying on drawing every penny out of you

  12. What happened in the bmw race. Heard there was an incident, but can't find any news

  13. there was a big incident by all accounts, the BSB website has an update on each rider, some with broken bones, a couple with serious but non life threatening knocks to the head etc.

That’s the serious bit, and hope they are all okay, but on the ‘flippant’ side, who knew you can get hurt on a shopping bike…
