I returned home after a gentle run yesterday and noticed a small drip of oil on the drive , stripped the side off the fairing (how easy is that ) and the leak was coming from one of the oil line fittings (that go to the cooler). The fitting that screws into the engine just needed a slight retighten and then loosen the pipe to take the slight kink out the pipe and it was all sorted . So just a piece of advice to you all to check the tightness of these fittings when you are doing any work in the vicinity of the R H S of the engine with the fairing off .
Oil cooler fittings have caused me problems also and one of them cracked and started weeping, over tightening needs to be avoided if you do need to do this job.
