Which Dp Ecu For 2009 1198 Base Model

  1. I have sourced a set of Termi slash cut slip ons and will get an air filter soon too. The issue is what is the correct DP ECU to suit this on a base model 2009 1198 which has no QS or TC or DDS stuff.

    Or will say an 1198 S or SP one work ????

    Ideally the part number is the thing I need as I can then compare it to whats avail on eBay etc

  2. You can retrofit QS and DTC on a 2009 Base 1198. ;)

  5. The bike will run with an S or SP ECU but the MIL will be on all the time.

    You need 96520109B flashed to the ECU.

  6. Just a quick post to say thanks to ChrisW. I bought an 848Evo ECU from evilbay and sent it to him. He flashed it quickly to the correct programme for 1198 with filter and Termi's etc.

    Just fitted it 5 mins ago and when I switched it on it immediately it came up 1198 Racing on the dash. Fingers crossed, pushed the button and it fired right up.
