More Money For The North

  1. May be the conservatives might reverse some of the tax laws that have made being a landlord so unattractive?
Property isn't the game it used to be a decade or more ago.

  2. Taxed on the money you earn
    Taxed when you spend it
( twice , if you count duty on fuel , alcohol , tobacco etc. )
Taxed again if you leave any significant amount of money when you die .

    Personally , I don't mind ....
it warms my heart to contribute to the upkeep of the likes of Prince Andrew .

  15. I was once served a creme Brûlée in the Petit Paris restaurant in Grassmarket, only instead of caramelising with a sugar top they used salt!
    Is this a local custom?
    :)

  16. That's horrendous. Negative, I know the place of which you speak but have never been in. Usually I walk straight past it half cut on route to the Black Bull.

  17. I know, it clearly was a mistake, and a bit of a shock to the system too!
