Absolutely perfect base for a cafe racer/custom job...I've seen some decent stuff done with these multis too.

 

It would've been better if not seized, but i do take your point of view.

i'm surprised someone has bid 1K considering it has a seized engine.

 

I'd be suprised if it made it past £15k at moment .

 

Perhaps the seller has that second ebay account hoodwinking others..

 

Or it could just be the notorious starter clutch shattered and jammed up around the flywheel etc.
It did suddenly seize when he was trying to start it.

And without taking anything apart I'm unsure how he could come to the rear cylinder broken ring conclusion.

 

Never had one jam like that, and didn't know it was an option Simon, I think it would just "steamroller" on through wouldn't it? Usual fail is failure to turn engine accompanied by oil smoke puffing from front of fuel tank.

 

This one was better imo..and was (a while ago admittedly) up for sale at a fraction of 22K! (bikexif)
