Yamaha R6 5EB 1999 This bike has had a fortune spent on it recently to get it prepared for the pre injection 600 class but due to a change of plans has never been tracked. The engine has recently received a refresh using the 5SL bottom end that is so sought after with this model to prevent the cracked liner issues that are common. Here is a list of the work that's been carried out: Ported & polished head YECC Fast Road cams Carbs ultrasonically cleaned Dynojet kit K&N air filter Full Arrow race exhaust YEC ram air modification carried out and bike set up on the dyno to compliment the engine mods Ohlins rear shock with remote preload adjuster (was told that it had just been serviced prior to purchasing). Fully refurbished front forks with K-Tech springs and flow valves, forks powder coated and suspension set up for 13st rider Freshly powder coated wheels and new bearings installed Gilles rearsets in race shift but can be setup for road shift if required HM quickshifter (very rare on these bikes now and much better than the other options available) Motion Pro ¼ turn throttle Steering damper Rain light Freshly painted bodywork Braided brake lines Brakes were recently stripped, cleaned and had new Brembo race pads and fluid Crash protection Fresh fluids including brake fluid Spare wet wheels with wet tyres V5 available but needs to be applied for, I will try to get this done. Yeah. I bought it last year with the view to giving the PI600 class a go and this has all the proper bits on it to go straight into racing but to be honest my hearts not in it and I'd miss racing in the bigger classes.
