Moto Gp Round 4 - Jerez (spoilers)

  1. good ride that was!

tbf a few riders showing the desperation to keep their jobs… Espagaro was just amateur, miles back, just crashed before he’d even hit the side of the other rider, and Zarco was a bit messy also taking Miller out. Miller was frustrated but he is going to get that if he’s running round in 10th downwards when Acosta was podium man yesterday

  2. I dont know why we keep doubting Pecco (including myself as i lumped most of yesterdays winnings on 93 lol) but i think today has to be the final straw.

We finally got what we wanted as a side by side comparison and the best rider in the world for the past 2 years (and probably more) came out on top.

The boy can handle pretty much anything that's thrown at him.

    Chapeau.

  3. Said this earlier in the season at this rate theres going to be more GP seats up for grabs than there is talent coming through who actually deserve one.

  4. Except it wasn’t a totally like for like battle, Marc is on a year old bike. I’m not saying pecco isnt potentially the better rider of todays standards, we will see, I’m just pointing out it wasn’t a same equipment battle… Gigi has said the difference between 2023/24 bike ‘reasonably big, the bike works in a different way’

  5. Has the Marquez bubble just been burst? :motorcycleduc:
I have always thought MM would win those battles, but ..

  6. Be interesting to see if they give him a factory bike next year won't it.
Pecco pulling that lap record out 2 laps from the end was a bit special though. Unreal.
And all in front of the noise from the "record" anti-anyone but 93 crowd.
Bodes well for the rest of the season and i hope it stays clean like today:upyeah:.

  7. Was Espagaro who took Zarco out , not Zarco taking miller out!! Poor old Zarco did nothing wrong!

  8. You shouldn't discount the home crowd advantage that Marquez had. It would also have been very interesting if Jorge Martin had managed to keep it right side up - but I think that was a good demonstration of Pecco's race craft to push JM into a mistake like that.

  9. That move on the brakes he made on Bezz and Martin a lap or so in, going into DP corner was next level too.

  12. I've not seen it yet apart from when i turned on the telly earlier late with a man dressed in red and his arms in the air with joy on his face.
Looking forward for the re-run later with my pizza.

  13. Just an all round fantastic race weekend.
Imo JM not looking as fast this year, but maybe with exception of the obvious mistake today, he knows points make championships.
Long season ahead and only 4 race weekends done. Injuries, form etc all to come in to play. Nice to see Bez looking good again.

  14. Good to see pecco win that type of race at one of mm strong tracks as most of what I’ve seen, he gets to the front, goes unchallenged and once in his Rhythm just goes.
