Ducati Free Accessories Offer

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by pipeburn76, Jul 31, 2015.

  1. Hi guys, I just received an email from my local dealer (Laguna in Kent) with a bunch of free accessory offers on their Ducati range. I'm thinking of chopping in my 11 plate GSX-R600 for a Monster 821 Dark and thought I'd get a bit of first hand feedback. The dealer is offering a free set of Termignoni silencers with the Monster but it's not a brand I'm familiar with so don't know if they're any good or not. Has anyone got them fitted to theirs and is it worth keeping them or trying to get a bit off the price of the bike instead?

Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers :upyeah:

  2. Seriously, never heard of Termignoni when coupled with Ducati :Wideyed:

  3. Now i've looked into it a bit more, I can see they go together like bacon and eggs! Forgive my ignorance...

  4. That's a beauty! Can't wait to get my hands on one

  5. :Wideyed:

  6. That's not a bad offer when the Termi RRP is £1000 but they obviously don't cost the dealer that. The most you'll get off a new 821 is about £500 if you're lucky, which exhaust are you going to buy for £500 ? The Termi will always be the preferred choice when you come to sell....

  7. Go for it!!

  8. Took a test ride on both Monsters today and was absolutely blown away. The 1200 was hands down the best riding experience I've ever had. The punchy throttle took a bit of getting used to but apart from that I can't really fault it. Great riding position, smooth and great in the corners, and bags of power! I have to say I didn't notice too much difference in the riding modes but then again I only had around 40 minutes on it.

Unfortunately the free exhaust laguna are offering wasn't fitted to the demo bike but as far as I can gather the Termignonis added will be nothing but a good thing.

Now i just need to figure out what to spend that £750 voucher on. Any ideas?

  10. Be quick before Ducati withdraw the offer for them!

  11. I may be wrong but in the small print it says end of September for the offer to end, as far as the cans go, yes snap them up if u can, most seem to really rate the 'up map' that comes with Termi's. I can't speak though as I had Arrows and a custom map on my 848.

    Good luck!

  12. You're right, it is up until the end of September. Not that I need much time to mull it over! The chap at Laguna also suggested putting the £750 voucher that also comes with it to upgrade the Termis to the full system. Doesn't seem like such a bad shout...

  13. Personally I would go with just slip ons but that's just me. Then would get a tail tidy and few other bits like tail tidy if they do one

  14. It seems the only real benefit to the full system would be a bit more weight saved but I agree the voucher is best spent on some other bits. Could put in £300 and get the scalloped wheels: [IMG]

  17. Well, I'm not too far away actually! Just seen the S version has these wheels in black as standard, much nicer :upyeah:

  18. ask them why the retail price is 20% higher than it should be at the current exchange rate ? then laugh at their derisory 'free gifts'

  19. Not the dealers fault what the rrp is and there's no way they'd be allowed to advertise discounted prices knowing Ducati. Credit to the dealer for trying to give us a bit extra off their own back.
