Bike Accident Mr. Air Con

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by AirCon, Aug 19, 2015.

  1. Life is always full of change & embracing it is what we must naturally do. Get well & hopefully this will be a one off operation on your hand. The brief time I met you at 'on your bike' you did seem to be a hooner rather than a sedate rider.

  8. Went under at 12 noon.
Came out at 6pm. Spent until 8pm in recovery, so I'm gutted that I missed Mrs. AirCon's visit . I'm in agony. It feels like each finger should be crumpled up, but in reality they are laid out nicely.
I can only reach the tips, so I've no idea if I have an external fixator or surgical cuts for metal plates.

  9. That was a long surgical procedure but let's hope they have done the job in one hit so no more. Hope the pain management works and gives some relief. Rest well my friend, tomorrow is another day and another day nearer the door. Andy

  10. Yes, I agree, hope they did it all in one hit, a bit more pain but over and done with, rest easy and I hope it's bearable AirCon, wishing you all the best.

  11. On this occasion I was exiting from a minor cul de sac to an A-road on a T-junction less than 100 yards from my front door.
This is a junction I use many times a day and have done for the last twenty years.
I was just pulling out, so even with 150 horses the actual speed was under 30mph; limit is 40.
