We're growing and hiring .. Ducati sales person opportunity

Would you like to join our award winning family at Moto Rapido Ducati?

We are currently recruiting for a new member to join our Motorcycle Sales Team.

This is a rare opportunity to join a growing and modern Ducati dealership, the base of the BSB Racing team and workshop.

An excellent understanding of customer service is key, we are a professional motorcycle dealership who all love motorcycles and specifically the Ducati marque. Customer service is a priority and you would be seeing the customer from initial enquiry to handing them the new bike and helping after sales.

You will enjoy our direct contact with the Ducati factory and racing division with full training in the UK and overseas, (typically Italy but Ducati do send us all over Europe for training and events)

You will be attending some of the BSB events and track days as our representative to look after customers and show them the racing division of Moto Rapido.

You will need to understand the passion and pride only Ducati owners have and appreciate the exceptional level of service our customers have come to expect.

You will have some responsibility for the ongoing marketing of our sales department, keeping customers informed via email and social media campaigns as well as traditional print and local advertising.
We pride ourselves on being experts on all things Ducati, so you must be prepared to learn and understand modern motorcycles in detail in order to help customers choose the right bike and accessories.

What kind of person are we looking for?

Ideally we are looking for someone with a successful track record in sales and to be comfortable working to targets whilst offering excellent service at all times.

You must of course be passionate about bikes and hold a full car and bike licence.
It is paramount that you are able to connect with our already well-established and successful team; while exercising your own initiative by bringing your personality to add to our collective abilities.
Attention to detail is essential, working to strict industry regulations for vehicle finance and paperwork is something we pride ourselves on.

You will have to able to bring fresh ideas to the store for the benefit of our customers.
You will need to be flexible. There will be occasions when you will be called upon to work late and weekend work is part of the industry norm. There will also be the requirement to work at events and race events.

You must be articulate, warm and friendly to all who give their time to come into our store. We are renowned for our levels of customer service.
You must be computer literate , ongoing training on our I.T. systems will be provided but knowledge of basic computer skills is an absolute must. Some experience of social media and website work is an advantage.

If you think you can bring something to the team please apply directly via email at [email protected] with your CV and a few brief paragraphs about your application.
A very competitive salary and bonus package will be awarded to the successful candidate.
This is rare opportunity to work with one of the world's most exciting and iconic motorcycle brands and one of the UK’s leading dealerships.

Please note: Prior experience in car or motorcycle showrooms, car lots or estate agencies is not vital, we are a small independent authorised showroom who sells a lot of new Ducatis through great customer service, we are not part of a large network or group, you won't be wearing a suit, fake rolex or lots of cheap aftershave, we don't ring a bell when we sell a bike. Our customers are intelligent people who don't need to be sold bike, just helped with the purchase. Arthur Daley need not apply.

  2. I learned this morning when I dropped the Ohlins cartridge kit off for my 1098 Showa forks that Julian is returning to Australia. Well I for one will miss his antipodian youthfulness and enthusiasm and I wish him the best of luck and fortune for the future. Bugger thats means I'm going to have to convince another salesman that I'm a special customer who is entitled to any bargains going . Andy

  10. My sales technique would be the same one that works on me... show me a video/stills of it doing some wheelies and knee down action, then just say "if you buy it, you might look that cool. Look how shiny it is, you need it in your life".
