1200 DVT Auxillary Lights:are Touratech The Same As The Official Ducati Ones?

  1. Folks,
    been waiting for some 'official' Ducati lights since mid January and my dealership advises they are on back order and won't be in till mid March :cry:

    Are the Touratech ones the same lights ?

  7. I don't think so, it's just all the accessories in the Enduro Pack are from Touratech.


    The lights are the same but the brackets and wiring loom are different.

  11. I have the OEM Ducati driving lights on my 2015 'S'. As regards to the extra light these provide, when it's dark, well not that much. They illuminate a little extra on the side, but nothing up front of any significance.

    To get greater coverage all round, I just installed a set of LED lights on a separate switch, these cost me $150 versus the $450 price of the OEM kit.

    As you can see I have both sets mounted, although I may ditch the OEM add on lights at some point.

  17. It's sounding like after all that waiting they may not be giving the extra light we're expecting.
    These are top dollar for sure but they are serious aux lighting, some models not even legal for public road they're so bright. A nice selection of beam types as well.

  20. Well no real surprise, the lights still haven't arrived.
    For what use it is I have emailed Ducati UK...
    Be interested to see what bullshit excuse they give, if they even bother to contact me. :rage:
