  6. If this forum keeps on going the way it is, all 1098R's will be owned by members soon.

  7. Chris reckons that the Forum owners tally is 12 so far. If my maths is up to it, that represents just over 10% of the total UK registrations. Andy
Update : Just checked one web site that shows only 90 1098Rs either taxed or SORN'd in the UK, so our tally is more like 13%.

  8. Very nice Ricky. I hope they also sent the bits you need to fir them. Drop me a line if you need any help.

    Happy new forks. ;-)

  9. I know of an ex track 1098r that has been put back to road spec for sale. Its mint and not been moved for 18 months

  10. Where? How much etc etc etc :smileys:

  11. Im on the case. Get back to you asap with details

  12. Now you bloody tell me ! Like London buses, you don't see one for ages and then two of them turn up at the same time. Typical :p. Andy

  13. They're not new to the bike - they were already fitted when I bought it in September. Just removed them and sent them off for a service and set-up for my weight (5 stone lighter than the previous owner!).
Got all the stuff to fit them - remember I sent you a pic of the caliper spacers for the Wheel sensor?

  14. Was watching that myself - just think what they paid to move it on for £16K - about £13 to £14K max perhaps?

  15. That has been for sale for several months. Looks very similar to one currently being advertised in MCN. A deposit was taken quite a while ago so I am surprised it is still up or sale. Andy

  16. They leave the adverts sometimes to draw you to their other bikes...

  17. I thought i had seen a similar add a while back,i dont tend to look for 1098r's to often as it like chinese torture,i would love to own one and breaking my 899 and selling off the bits i know i could own one but i love my 899.This one even at 16k seems a fair price and i am sure a belt and fluid service would or could be part of the deal.

  18. Clearly not one of the original 100 pre registered by Ducati UK in 2008 but definitely not new in 2012. I'd be interested in who the supplying dealer was and who pdi'd it before it did the 897 miles since being registered with the DVLA. It has been offered at £16k for the entire time it's been on eBay so clearly too strong in the current market. They might take an offer, you never know. Andy

  19. I'm in same boat. I can afford one at 16k . But don't want to give too much if I can help it.

The other issue is that I worry it might be too much of a animal for a average person to use on the road.
