Lectron Carburettors

Discussion in 'Supersport (1974-2007)' started by richgilb, Jun 21, 2016.

  1. Has anyone tried them on a Supersport? I have one on my Husqvarana WR125 and I got more power, 20% better mpg, smoother running and it was easier to tune, as they do not have jets. You just turn one of 2 screws. You don't even need to take the carb off. You can leave the bike running while you tune them if your bike allows access. Expensive though.

  2. I thought you was a injection man rich....ther is another new carb the same system a the lectrons maybe worth a look at the prices.

  3. Like the idea, but not sure they'd work at the required angle? - can't find anything on't web that informs.

  4. APT smart carb is the other carb i was thinking of.

  5. Not really bothered either way, injection or carbs, but I am gaining interest in a Superlight and the first thing to go would be the carbs. It's just that my Lectron, a year down the line, has been a total revelation and makes Keihin and Mikunis, whichever ones you buy, look like shit.

    I will look at APT.....
