British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Junker is putting himself across as an odious, spiteful little toad.
Just seeing him as he is now should put most people off from wanting to join his organisation.

  2. That has crossed my mind also. I expect they have lawyers crawling over it and some of the claims made eg £350 million a week for the NHS

  4. What Fin said really.

Plus EVEL and of course how the last Scotland bill was pushed through by Non Scots voting it through against the will of 58 out of 59 Scots MPs. The irony!

Many pro Indy people voted for Brexit some of whom are high profile politicos.

It's only a matter of time until an opinion poll comes out on the topic.

  5. I lost my first friend on Facebook for voting out and having an opinion which differed from theirs

    :Sorry:

  8. They're just scared and to a degree I don't blame some of them as they probably expected more substance from the government in the immediate days after the result.

I've mentioned there's barely been anybody with authority given air time on TV showing some backbone, however it's also not the gloomy outlook the news channels are trying to push like some apocalyptic aftermath.

  9. Leave or remain, right or wrong, what we are about to see is the disintegration of UK party politics and the eventual downfall of the EU governing elite. My concern is that there are no true leaders available to fill these gaps. Boris is the same old same old, Corbyn is living on borrowed time and says nothing to me about my life (to quote someone or other). No one, apart from right wing nutters, stands out in Europe.....dangerous times indeed.

  10. Here's a bit of reverse propaganda - there are millions who voted 'in' that wished they had the backbone to stick 2 fingers up at the fear campaign lead by the little weasel who is now in hiding. So chew on that against your 4 people who the BBC found and start learning how things work :D your opinion is in a minority, unfortunate for you, but its the reality of our Brave Nation to stick it to those disgusting foreign ministers in Germany we saw bitchin' today. How can you not listen to them and think we haven't done the right thing by kicking them in the goolies

  11. I have wanted out as long as I can remember, I voted out and after all the media hype that evening I thought I would wake up on Friday still in, no surprise in that, the surprise was that the outers had won. So if the news had interviewed me I would have given the same reaction. I would still vote out if I had to do it again.

  12. Personally, I don't care for political agenda. I am for choice. The BBC is a fucking disgusting scum filled toilet of bile . What the fuck BBC, hasn't the EU grant run out already.

NI voted, I don't agree but we are loyal and resilient, I like the UK, Welsh maybe tomorrow. It was suggested we have a referendum. Go on then, have one. Might be a bit of a clean up needed though. Peace my arse, this place stinks. But, it's my home and I love it and God willing, I will die here.

I detest arrogance. The EU stank of it, they are showing it now. Fuck them.

Change your vote? No, make your mistakes, grows character.

  13. BTW, don't go looking to your political representative for answers, tell them what you want. For to long now, political bullshit has blinded people into thinking we need them. Fuck them. We don't need them. They are there because we put them there. Don't forget that.

Stand tall, the World is watching you. You won't starve.

  14. Shame on them, not on you. The whole point of democracy and the private ballot is that you should not have to choose your friends according to your (or their) politics.
If "friends" chose to condemn you for your political choices, they are not friends.

  15. Someone who is only your friend if you agree with them isn't really a friend.
In all likelihood, if not brexit, they'd have dumped you over something else.
And if you don't agree I'll put you on ignore. :p
