Hi I am looking at changing my exhaust on my icon to give it a bit more umph and the alternatives appear to be (1) Termignoni Sport line racing silencer or (2) Termignoni Evo- line type- approved silencer, so looking for advice on which would be best to replace Icon standard exhaust with ?
There's loads of different manufacturers that are producing after market exhausts for the scrambler now. Zard do some nice ones
They do... here are some thoughts and lessons learned thus far. 1) Standard exhaust grounds out easily, but doesn't do your head in or upset people when you're pottering along 2) Zard low level grounds out, not as easily and is quite noisy but sounds nice. Some people look impressed, some people look disgusted 3) Racefit looks amazing, isn't a great fit, you require the bobbins from your standard exhaust, the baffle FELL OUT and was lost somewhere near Mkt Rasen and it sounds like the earth being torn apart... which is amazing for about a minute and then you want it to shut up. 4) Termi' high line... bracket on order... could be the one, but I will have to lose my RH pannier. So all things considered, I liked the standard one. :tongueclosed:
Seen quite a few and fitted most of them. Sport line takes some beating tbh. Fits perfectly and comes sorted with upmap to rectify the running with open pipe. Will always hold a higher resale as well if/when you come to sell it.
Zard zuma is my choice. Great sound, great price, great weight, great look. Everything an exhaust need .) have an rexxer mapping with a bmc airfilter, love the tiny shooting sounds, when i left the throttle..
