1200 R Something Other Than Termis...

Discussion in 'Monster' started by Monsterped, Feb 24, 2017.

  1. Evening all

Bulking at £1400 odd for Termis and actually not liking them too much I've gone the Arrow route, which arrived today. Actually came with a plug in catalyst which I've not fitted but if it runs like a bag of spanners it's an option. Sounds nice with the db killer in, but pukka without it! Nicely made too and took all of about ten or fifteen minutes to fit. Hopefully get a spin out over the weekend to see how it goes

  2. Looking at that, it appears longer than an SC can - probably a slightly more sensible size. Will be interested to hear it.

  3. Thanks for posting, think Mrs M is going to end up going the Arrow Route also with her M796. Just out of interest, was there a spot weld which needed to be removed in order to remove the DB Killer retaining clip?

Will be interested to hear your thoughts once you've had chance to get out for a proper run on it and report beck ;)

  4. When it stops raining you can have a listen! Video on the phone was not so great was it!

  5. Yep, small weld stopping the circling coming out, quick tap with a small screwdriver and hammer saw it disappear quite easily!

  6. Bring on the weekend!

  7. Forecast less than good... you might ge ok turning your monster into an off road version but I'm stuffed if I'm getting mine that dirty...

  8. I shall continue to enjoy mine whatever the weather, rather than a pretty workshop ornment! :tonguewink:

  9. IMG_0256.JPG First ride of 2017 today and first ride with the new zorst! Happy to report it runs just fine, sounds better (bit quiet at the moment as db killer is in) and I think it looks just right

    Roll on sunny days!

  10. SC SOUND BRILLIANT ON MY EVO 1100

  11. I'm considering the akrapovic ones for my 821, as it's half the price of termignoni :(

  12. Look at the date on the post... 11th March

  13. Ped, the end can looks great.
Did the bike require any remapping or alteration to the fueling?

  14. Looking Good!

  15. Hi Richard
No change to mapping, runs as sweet as a nut

  16. My choice would be from Zard. Expensive, as they all are, but lush.
