Ducati GT1000 Sport Classic 2009 Custom Cafe Racer | eBay Ducati GT1000 Sport Classic 2009 Custom Cafe Racer Ok he will not budge on his price, what do you think? My intentions are to strip, clean and paint the engine, new exhaust, seat, paint, 999 wheels and possible forks, or re work the originals, new rear shocks Is the bike worth it? What are the wheels and forks worth?
Someone else on here mentioned this bike 2 or 3 weeks ago, the general consensus then was that this was one to avoid if I remember correctly.
No it was one or the other, the streetfighter is is number one if I can convince the wife to let me spend the extra £2,250
Yup, gets picked up Saturday may just have to stick with this as I cant sell it, even tried at £4k Kawasaki Z1000 Zephyr 1100 Streetfighter Custom Retro Classic | eBay I am still toying with building a shed-x style 848/1098 sport classic/GT or just stop f****ng about and get a streetfighter
That Kawa is yours too? As a thought, rather than chopping up a perfectly good bike, how about putting your own stamp or finishing someone else's project? Initial outlay probably a lot cheaper? yup that's mine too, I have built 8 bikes over the years, found its normaly best to start with a nice running bike, sometimes have trouble with the non runners/projects, and yes I should stop building and just setle for something, the hyper was a realy nice bike and prob should have kept it, but I can say the same thing about my 1100evo monster, sports classic etc, always fancied a streetfighter, but still enjoy the build process, and usualy loose loads of money, the zed has cost me well over £6k, been offered £3,300
