Can't say I really understand what is so difficult in organising the bikes for Horsham. If they can manage to organise cars and scooters, why are bikes so different? It sounds like a load of cobblers to me and they just don't want bikes. Sounds like there are other Italian festivals to go to.
That reply makes it sound like the problem revolves around an inability to find a club that can organise the bike parade and event. That appears to be at odds with what has been said in this post which implies that HDC had issues with last year's event and some antisocial behaviour/antics.
At least the food was good Is getting a little crowded though and walking around in your leather and crash didn't help.
I went to the Piazza on Monday and thought it was a good day. However, I still don't understand why the bikes couldn't have been there. McLaren owners club were there (not Italian), there were a few scooters in a side street, and a number of the cars driving in weren't Italian either, so in my opinion, Italian bikes were a glaring omission.
Yeh I might just do that. I'm sure I can find a few moments at work to send a suitably worded email. I'll let you know how I get on!
Good, maybe H.D.C. will re-consider the involvement of the bikes for next year if enough people voice their opinion.
