  2. Channel 4+1 is worth a look if you're a petrol head

  3. Confirmed the booking for the Jan/Feb 2018 ski trip. Had 7 deposits paid so far out of 12 people going and went to see the Tour de Yorkshire and walked 5 miles in the process. :)

  4. Just sat in Barcelona airport having ridden Parcmotor with No Limits since Friday. Cracking track, great people and the weather stayed good and dry when it threatened it wouldn't....happy man!

Step-bros R1M which is a cracking bike. Both bikes didn't skip a beat throughout the whole 170+ laps but didn't half drink some motion lotion!

  5. Another weekend with the Cooper Bristol at Donington this time. 3rd overall ahead of a D type after a race long dice and just behind an Aston Martin DB3s, and a lap down on a Cooper Jag. After careful optimisation with different tyre pressures on all four corners could take Craners flat which was a bit eye wobbling. One of the great corners anywhere any time in anything. Next stop Brands at the end of the May.

    Any leads on 748 C?

  7. I've been awake since 4.22am. This is the 5th time in a row I have woken at that exact time. What's that all about?

I foresee my lying on the sofa all day drifting in and out of a coma whilst watching my Game of Thrones and Sons of Anarchy back catalogue.

  8. I've always been sh*t at sleeping, but can recommend this book - apparently we sleep in a succession of 90-minute cycles and what matters most is waking up naturally at the end of one of those cycles. If you're disturbed in the night you should try and time it so your intended wake time is a multiple of 90 mins away. On occasion that means actually getting up and doing something before going back to bed 3 hours (or 4.5 hours) before you need to get up (plus 15 mins to actually get off to sleep).

For many people, a regular wake time is also key - get up the same time each day, don't be tempted to lie in if you didn't sleep well, as it just further confuses your rhythms. You are however allowed 30 min or 90 min naps at certain periods of the day to catch up if needed. I make full use of those  especially if it's a sunny day and I can doze in the garden!

    Good luck tonight ET :upyeah:

  11. I've not slept through the night for years although Ive found in the last 9 months (lower back pain) putting a pillow under my knees and two behind my head, and sleeping on my back has helped no end.... Still wake up for a piss (getting on now) but the sleep I get is a lot better.

  18. Today i have pretty much drank red wine all day.. watched the romanian clear the garden for a while which made me feel guilty... not guilty enough to help mind. I did spend about 6 mins fixing a fence panel... cant believe it took 2 years to get round to doing.

  19. Watched half a top gear. JK was on there. Shame it wasn't Rowling, would have been less tedious

  20. Tried to clear some space in the garage for the FJ 1100 I got as a runaround commuter, but failed, so it's still outside under a cover.
