I really like Dave Moss videos, and I found very interesting what he talks about the geometry of Scrambler and the changes he made in this video. I do not have a scrambler, but if I had I would test it.
Hey guys, my english is not the best. i understood the front fork adjustment. But the rear spring should be on position 3? (I actually the weight dave mentioned for this setting.) I hope you can help me guys, i will report you my thoughts on this.
I did what dave moss explained in tbe video and the bike felt alot better afterwards, i recommend trying it on your scrambler, my rear shock is set one notch down from the 'stiffest' setting. Hope that helps
Great, thank you, thats what i Wanted to know. My english is not so good, thats why i didnt understood all that he had said.
I don't understand, was my already tuned dave moss like?! I have one notch to the left and 3 notches to the right. Looks like it would go softer, if I take I to the right? Cause the spring should getting bigger Here what I have done: Should be right, isn't it?
You need to go the other way! You made it softer, need to make it harder Cheers! Enviado desde mi iPhone utilizando Tapatalk
But than It would be factory settings, like in the first picture (see above) That's what's confused me..
I am 5'4", 12 stone. Have my rear shock on the highest pre-load and pulled the forks through 10mm in total. Rear is much better, front is better but still bouncy. Dave advised me to play around with the tyre pressures, starting off at 44 and going down in 2 increments.
