Fantastic choice - you won't regret it for a minute. The 996SPS is the MOST Ducati or all Ducatis (IMHO) Do you mind me asking ... what did you pay for it? ... I'd love to have some idea of what mine is worth
Don't know much about them but one thing I do know is Adam will make sure that bike is 100% before you pick it up. Congrats...

Or equally an SP4. In an age of shell suit, tiger stripe Jap crap they stood out (in a way perhaps never since equaled) for class and distinction. If that means the most Ducati Dave, then I agree. Sorry if that sounds arrogant. BTW welcome- and great machine.
Ah yes ... 888 ... possibly even more "essence of Ducati" than the 996 That's why I recently bought this ... I'd fancied one for some time, and examples as nice as this don't come up very often so I jumped at it when I saw it for sale on pistonheads
2 years since I bought the SPS and having only put 100 miles on since, I want to make 2017 a year that I get some riding enjoyment out of it. I don't think a few stone chips will affect the value too much........ Happy New Year all, looking forward to a good year of riding.
