i would appreciate the basic differences between the 749 and 999r, i currently own a 749r and was considering a 999 but need to know it would be worth while. I am new to ducati so please be gentle with me! My 749r below was traded through this forum many thanks in advance Pip
I nearly bought a 999R last year but when I went to look at it it looked so similar and familiar to my 749R that it just didn't excite me whatsoever. I ended up with a 1098R instead...much more interesting to fiddle with (and also stupidly more difficult to work on!).
What did you do in the end? After several 999's i now have a 2005?749, which i find much better for the road
