Dear All, finally sorted it.... Sigh of relief! To cut a long story short...... Even though it's a 2005 registered 999R, it originally had the earlier front loom on it, so that and other clues point it at being an early 999R registered later. Now the replacement, better built loom takes the later R/H Starter switchgear i.e 1098 style 8 pin instead of 4 pin. No problem I thought as the old switchgear was so corroded the starter button would stick in and the later loom is alot better built... But that's where the problem stemmed from. The Nemisis Race ECU was getting confused on the signals it was getting on the starter circuit with the extra wiring from the 8 pin starter connector. So alot of diagnostics later, with the help of a good mate and his Nemisis experience, we cracked it. Just needed a new configuration built for the Nemesis ECU and some modification of the new main and front looms. Fires straight up! Top! A well deserved beer has just been opened! J
