Yes but it isn't particularly effective, the insurance companies rejoice to these certain 'in house' schemes. But if you want your pride & joy coming home get a gps-tracker system. These insurance companies do not care about crime, they want turn over & seemingly enjoy crimes effecting hundreds of thousands of insurance policies when there are only a small amount of real criminal scum who need kneecapping or thumbs cut off. In the end my biketrac, abloy PL362 padlock & (package deal) almax series IV chain + squire lock + ground anchor. Plus cctv & high grade storage unit was in the top range of insurance grouping discounts than a datatag microdots spread about the bike. As if someone is going to somehow locate the stolen bike, decide to sieze it & then spend an hour or two scanning for ultraviolet dots?!?
