Hi, I am looking to fit a set of Pirelli diablo Rosso 3's to my 899, they don't come in the standard size but looking to fit a 190/55/17, has anyone done this and had any issues? Any info much appreciated Thanks Neil
When I changed to the Supercorsas (on 959) the electronics spat the dummy on a damp track because of the slightly different profile confusing it. I certainly wouldn't recommend it unless you only ride in the dry and have the DTC at its lowest.
If it is dry and you're not using the electronics (you have them off or on 1) then it would probably be ok, but as soon as they want to intervene they are going to get confused. Personally, after it cut power on me and sat me up in a corner (which isn't fun), I would never change from OE profile.
