Just cleaned the bike, after I'd finished rinsing it off I noticed this on the drive on the left hand side face down......has it just fallen off my bike I can't see anywhere obvious? It's made out of rubber and about 2 inch by an inch epressed:
what bike? Looks like a bung out of a swing arm on a 748 916 ect. Don't remember em saying up on em though. Or heard of one falling out
Chizel is right ya know!!! just stuck my hand behind the front of the swing arm where it meets the frame n there is an oval gap there. Only used a hose pipe to wash it, bit rubbish that it dropped out.
That's the problem with that failed Ducati experiment, the single-sided swing arm ... you just cannot get Hell Tee to apologise for them.
It's defo out of the swingarm, but.... if it's fell out, chances are the arm has water inside it. Put it on a stand and loosen the hub pinch bolts. Most the water will drain. Once it's done dripping, don't forget to tighten it back up.
