It's a personal thing I guess.. Usual problem of being too quiet with the insert in and (for me) too loud with it out. Had I kept it I would have done what I always end up doing......keep hacksawing bits off the insert until I get the required sound level!
Oh dear. That don't make my new purchase very good haha Hope all is sorted out and glad it didn't spit you off!
