749 Later Nose Cone On A 2005

  1. Is anyone able to give me a an answer to a couple of questions please.

    Apart from the nose cone and screen what other parts do I need to fit a later fairing to a 2005?

    The newer fairing does not have the cut out, what other differences in dimensions are there?

    Id like a wider faired area and a taller screen.

  3. 2005 is the later model. 2003-2004 is the narrower version. The side fairings and mirror brackets are different as well. The old side fairings will not match the newer front perfectly.

  4. I must have a late 2003-04 model as mine has the early fairings.

  5. If your bike is the one in your avatar (well why wouldn't it be :p) it's definitely an early model. Probably just registered at a later point.

    I'll need the full front fairing and the mirror brackets?

  7. Yes the later support brackets are wider. As said the sides wont fit exactly either.

  11. Yep not one fairing piece swaps from 03-04 to 05-06.
    Early Model pt no end a
    Facelift pt no end c.
    Screen is different too.
