Andy, got a 2ct on the front and a pp the bike came with on the back that's going to need replacing soon. That's a 180 rather than the standard 190 for a 999 as this was always reckoned to give nimbler handling. Is this still the case I wonder?
Check the rim width, 5.5j =180/55, 6.0j =190/50, Couple of things here, the 180 on correct rim was easier to start the turn in than a 190 on a 6.0j rim, 190 creates less neutral feel (self centering steering) slower to flip flop. 180 on wider rim flattens profile = slower to lean 190 on the thinner rim = faster to lean Options to play with to create lighter feel 180/60 on a 5.5 rim 190/55 on a 6.0 rim (sometimes hugger needs moving Always cover off non-standard fit with your insurance company,
I've always run my Rosso 2s at 32/34, now I have changed to Metzeler M7rr and there Web site gives the same pressures for the 748. Steve
