  4. Did you change M/C to match the M50s?

  5. no, its a bit spongy but I wanted to give it a good test to see how it feels on the road before I change

  6. I'm going a similar way with my 749/999 track bike. Re-valved 1098S Ohlins, M50s, Ti front spindle, RCS Brembo master cylinder. Upgrade from the original Showas (albeit re-valved), axial calipers and standard master cylinder. Job for the winter.

  7. Someone on this forum wrote to strap the brake lever overnight, I did and the brake is solid now, they say that the M50 calipers require a small bore MC ie RCS 16, compared to the M4 calipers, M50s have smaller pistons the Panigale MC is 16 from what I read and if you put a RCS19 on it will be hard as rock without feel, again from what others wrote, so it may good to go with the standard MC from the 749, testing will tell hopefully this week.

  14. Bought a 1199 MC, brakes OK with the original MC but for me it has too much lever travel so found a 1199 MC for a decent price and took it.
