Quick Release Fuel Connector

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by Flip848, Feb 25, 2017.

  1. Searched the forum but didn't find the answer.
I've bought two metal quick release fuel connectors.
My question: do I need to use loctite or something to screw the connector male into the fuel pomp plate?
They are tapered but I cannot believe it needs nothing to seale it "fuel proof" the thread is lightly damaged because the original plastic shitconnector broke off.
    Does anyone knows the answer?
    Thx

  3. ..you running it on red-diesel?!?! ;)

  4. I used 'slic-tite' which is a fuel resistant paste but I think it's basically PTFE?

Whatever it is, it hasn't leaked...
