i mean, whats to say the widget that tells the dash its in neutral. and the sensor for the starter is the same?
any ways, my ducati 848 had a new battery 1or 2 months ago. i hadnt used it for 2weeks. and the battery was 100% flat. ive charged it. and it kept a charge over night. the dash in battery mode reads 11.9-12.4 when engines off. are these dashes trustable? cos that voltage means the batteries fucked
Bike magically fixed itself yesterday. This may sound silly, but it wouldn't be due to having a virtually empty petrol tank?
Hi, My 749 started to do strange things. Sometimes starting, sometimes not. Power cutting out while riding, then cutting back in etc etc This was due to an intermittent fault in the side stand switch. If you continue to have problems, it's easy to disconnect the switch, and put a wire loop in the bike side of the connector plug to bypass the switch and fool the bike into thinking the stand is up. Cheap way to try and identify a possible issue.
