  1. Wouldn't trust most Ducati dealers more than Halfords ;)

  2. Did they say where from? I work around Kensington & Chelsea when i go into London and do see a lot of them.

  3. and at 90 odd quid an hour id rather take my chances with halfords tbh lol

  4. Doesn't specify. Just a series of tweets. 5 diavels, a multi 1200s, 899 and a pani.

    That's just the Ducati's in a week.

  5. I wouldn't let halfords top up my cars engine oil. They do a very short training course, none of the fitters actually have any formal qualifications.

A 17 year old halfords stereo fitter removing your panigale or diavel fairing? No chance.

  6. They offered to build my little girls bike, needless to say young Dwayne really struggled with the the said task.

She's only 3 , but she was gutted, tends to ride all her bikes really hard, no chicken strips in sight.

    Daddy's pani doesn't count..

  7. Is you go through their FB feed they have locations of a few of them... Bike Trac | Facebook

  8. Can you see that almost 98% of the bikes has been stolen from London?
    I need to move ;-)

  9. .....and 75% of those are Ducati!

  10. There's videos online of them stealing Ducati's. The effort it takes to break a steering lock is a joke. Even worse on my multi because it doesn't actually work. The tracker does give me peace of mind but realistically, London need to sort themselves out and put ground anchors in bike bays.

West London has a few bays kitted out, but overall it's probably 5% of bike bays (he says plucking a figure out of his Arse). I do work and ride all over London.

  11. I had a BikeTrac fitted to my HP4 from new. Beware that if you go above 186mph it thinks the bike is in a crash situation and sends a text to you nearest and dearest saying so.

    Allegedly [emoji56]

  12. Mine sends crash alerts whenever it feels like. Turned those off straight away.

  13. Elite motorcycle services are authorised datatool and bike-trac installers. Based in Kent but mobile.

  14. Do you know what it costs to get one fitted? Quite interested now.

  15. How much do you value your bike because the initial set up costs seem high. I had a unit fitted during a major service so didn't get charged for installation. Unit is about £250 plus subscriprion which IIRC was another £300 for 3 years. Andy

  16. I'd imagine most were stolen from outside G.A.Y whilst the owners were 'socialising' in their leather chaps and peaked caps. . Only joking Diavel owners keep your hair on.

  17. Surely it shouldn't be removable? Seems to defeat the object if your Tracker has been removed by Johnny lighfingered bastard and dumped in a bin somewhere?

  18. They apparently are buried reasonably deep in the bike. Take the too long to just remove and dump unless they know exactly what they are after and they know it even has a tracker. In that time, the hope is the police put down their doughnuts and nab them before that.

  19. Diavel went past my house in East Sussex earlier. Probably stolen and on its way to be stripped for parts.
