998 Wellnut Size - M4 Or M5?

  1. Hi all,

    quick question about screen wellnuts. anybody know for sure if it is M4 or M5 on the 998 (2002 MY)?

  3. OEM are M4 fine pitch. Lots of after market use regular M4 with "normal" screws.

  5. Thanks for the above guidance. I have gone and already ordered some bog standard M4 off fleabay before seeing your post @nelly. Not sure, but my poor memory is saying to me that maybe last time I changed the wellnuts I did screws and nuts, so maybe I have standard M4?

    Will take one of the screws to work tomorrow to see.
