I'm sure it looked a lot more realistic on the day, but I may have had a few too many beers at the time my wife presented me with the cake.
Just been down to Youghal in Cork through Limerick sorta way and back up the WAW from Ennis to Galway. 664 miles of epic epicness on the perfect bike. Every time I go out it blows me away how good it is.
A few bike shots from our recent tour of Italy, left from Geneva headed down the west coast to Amalfi across to the east coast and back via Bologna. Cracking trip, new front and rear tyres now needed
I did try to connect the app that day but nooopeee the app doesn't want to connect! I have reach 46 lean angle without even touch the foot pegs to the ground .. so i suppose 47-48 ..
I put this little beauty on a while ago after much Internet procrastination and a lot of help and info from Nelly at Cornerspeed and Rob at GPR but have only just got round to uploading any pictures. I've got to say that for a so-called budget exhaust system the GPR kit is very impressive. Well made, well packaged, well put together. It's absolutely spot on. The install went fine... for removing the first two exhaust manifold studs. The third one snapped off in the flipping damn engine casing and took 4 of us and some welding gear to remove it. The fitting of the 3 exhaust pieces was a little tricky to get right but like a lot of difficult insertions plenty of lube, hammer it home and eventually it went in. The slip-on had 2 baffles. It sounded OK with 1 removed but sounded bloody awesome with both of them out. Not too loud but a really nice v-twins rumble. TBH I didn't really notice any changes or problems with the fuelling but as I'd already had a Rexxer map fitted by that Ducati genius Nelly at Cornerspeed I was entitled to a free upgrade so had it done anyway. If you look closely you can see I did a quick matt black bodge paint job on the 3 pieces making up the belly pan but it matches the matt black of the exhaust quite nicely. Really pleased with the final outcome. (apologies if some of these photos are duplicated)
Cracking tackle that Gpr stuff. Had a pair in me Smt for a good few thousand miles, sounded the business and as good as anything else imho quality wise.
Yeah, sorry, that might have helped! Full system, replaced the cat. I took the cheaper black steel version, they do a carbon one as well I think. I think it was about £450 all in.
Hi, just joined the forum and decided to post a couple of pics of my 2017 DVT Touring. Bought her in April and just reaching 3000 miles. Use it for commuting and some spirited riding in North Wales. I’ve added some rim stickers and some Pirelli front fender ones too. So far it’s bloody marvellous! Adjusted the chain for the first time yesterday, what a pain in the hoop. But after many many other bikes (Kawasaki’s, Suzuki’s, BMWs, Hondas and Triumphs) it’s good to be back on a honking v Twin (the last Ducati I had was a Y reg Monster 1000).
