  5. yacht racing

  6. Cycling (
Road racing) - too lazy/fed up to participate recently but still enjoy watching it !

  7. Male mud wrestling, anything that involves men in tight shorts getting covered in mud.
    Tossing the caber .....
    Gentlemens arm wrestling.

Lobbying for dueling at dawn to be brought back...
Not a sport but Viking re-enactment which is rather entertaining for me to watch.

The worst sport I've watched was beach football .... It was not on a beach!!!

Seriously ... All the above ;) and football. "Up the Eagles" although most if my family could phrase that particular as "up the Arse-nal".
Used to enjoy watching flat racing.

I liked watching the winter bi Athlon?
Where they cross country ski then have to shoot targets that was awesome:)
But we are not able to do it here.

  8. I was thinking more if those Highland Games

  10. What a priceless thread this is ! !

What is it they say about tennis fans ? A sport for people that don't really like sport ! :frown:

Same as some Ducati owners maybe ? ............

  11. To my surprise, I voted for Rugby. I watch both codes and grew up playing them. But I've always thought of myself as a football (Association) fan, however I've fallen out of love with the "beautiful" game over the past few years. I still watch Match Of The Day, out of habit more than interest these days and the last time I went to Anfield was almost exactly 5 years ago. But, I really look forward to watching a Rugby test match & I quite often go & watch Wigan RL as a neutral, I grew up in Widnes & still follow the Chemics (none of this Vikings crap).

  12. And yet you don't mention Rugby...

Nice to see another Palace fan not ashamed to admit it though

  13. And another thing.......

.... why only one vote? I follow more than one sport, Rugby (Union by preference, League when there's no Union on) and Athletics being the main ones

  14. Rugby. Union, of course.

  15. Good to see Rugby getting the numbers. Any former players? Or any STILL playing?! I stopped playing a few years go due to injury (4 screws in my shoulder) - I was a second five (12, inside centre) who played 10 a bit. I played for Tooting Bec Old Boys while I was in London.

  16. Still playing Rugby Union, second row. Play for my local town side second team.

  17. I played back row and 12/13 at different times until my back gave in (all too young). I've coached my son through to Colts, and have now turned to the dark side, taking up the whistle. At least it gives me an opportunity to run around on a Saturday afternoon with a bunch of like-minded blokes, drink free beer, and avoid those "little jobs" around the house...

  18. Poacher turned gamekeeper! I would have too though, free beer is a good incentive..

After I couldn't play rugby I took up motorcycle racing, and now cycling as well - but I still miss playing rugby.

  19. Rugby Union as it is the ONLY sport.....

All the bike racing comes a close second and I will have a look at most sports except one......cannot stand football and would happily see it banned again.

"For as much as there is great noise in the city, caused by hustling over large balls from which many evils might arise which God forbid, we command and forbid, on behalf of the king, a pain of imprisonment, such game to be used in the city in the future."

    "King Edward II"
    13th April 1314

This law has actually never been rescinded therefore I move to enforce immediate incarceration of all players and supporters.
