I know Kvaerner. My niece works for them in Stockton (though she's seconded to a London office at the moment), and several of my friends do or have worked for them all over the country it the past. I'm originally from the Yarm area
Edwin Shirley Trucking which morphed into EST ages ago but which went pop last year? They are all tied up with TransAm now I have 6 of my own on Concerts and events, and funnily enough Edwin Shirley now runs a few vans and does bits and pieces for us....
Don't quote me,but I believe it was EST Staging that sank them.I heard,(again, don't quote me),that they did a massive staging job in India or somewhere, and didn't get paid,so goodnight Vienna. Can't say it bothered me much,we did a couple of jobs for them but they were very slow in weighing me out.An owner driver I know who subbed solely for them was owed money for over 12 months,he said it was the norm with them. Who are you/what did/do you do in the game then? And more to the point,do you still need transport? (unashamedly touting for work-sorry for going off topic) LOL!
