Ah didn't you get the memo? Chefs/pop stars/young women are seen as lifestyle aspirational characters these days... They are cool because they can cook an egg or sing a song.
Damn these spam settings. Damn them all to Hell! Seriously tho, who/ why were the chef/ Huey Whoever there? And what did JL99 get to premier?
I was waiting to see the 959 as June is out or warranty in March and would have been a likely candidate if I change. I also expected 16k price so that didn’t bother me too much Was hoping for more than a battery, suspension and damper and a can no one can sell on eBay. If it had a similar exhaust to SL, an alloy tank or different electronics I’d have been keen My bike weighs 7kg less with the 1299 system, 1.5kg less with lithium battery and about 4.5kg less with OZ wheels... The corse weighs 2.5kg less all in... Think I’ll keep mine, get a remap and just not bother with the fancy paint...
Agreed, but I thought that after trying the Daytona 675R. With the demise of the Daytona it’s not really got much competition in that segment so I’m sure they will shift a few. Personally I would buy a nearly new 675r, go faster, and enjoy the extra 8 grand in the bank.
Well from what I've read so far it's an S. Then BST wheels, full Ti system remove/replace fairings and all road going guff like horn, lights, indicators etc.
Im about half way through and disappointment reigns supreme for me at the moment....ive not got to the V4 stuff yet but...1100 - whats the point in that? should have stayed at a litre....the whole euro 4 thing is a joke anyway....EU brings in legislation to cut emissions (and strangle bikes) and manufacturer then reply with just making bigger engines....since when was 959cc's classed as middleweight.?
Worth noting: 1) The 226 HP on the V4 Speciale is from the full Akra Race Exhaust that it comes with, which adds 12 HP and drops ~8 LBS. That exhaust IS ALSO available to put on the V4 and V4S to bump it to the same 226HP. 2) The V4 and V4S have 2-up capabilities, basically the entire tailpiece gets swapped out. The Speciale however is monoposto only. 3) Akra exhaust has two silencers which are asymetric More pics of exhaust system and instrumentation will hopefully follow. A simulation of the instrumentation is shown in the video of the Stradale engine. EDIT: The Panigale V4 gets a new 5" full-TFT, high-res and high-brightness colour display, completely redesigned in terms of layout and graphics, including a new virtual circular rev-counter located on the right side. Two different layouts are available: Track mode focuses attention on the lap time indicator, while Road mode shows Ducati Multimedia System (DMS) information, and highlights engine rpm values typical of road riding. Top speed, selected riding mode, and selected gear do not change position when the layout mode is changed. Still mystified why this part of the bike has not been touched on, either on the website or during the launch.
175kg dry is basically 15kg under the rest of the 1000cc bikes, which is very good...it is not a 2 stroke gp bike
I honestly reckon the new Beamer is going to kick its ass. They did it in 2010... I reckon they’ll do it again. They can now evaluate the market and bring something out better, probably cheaper and better equipped and more useable. Again.
Keanu Reeves was at the Premiere last night. Guessing he won't baulk too much at the £35K asking price for the Speciale.
read another review and it says the 959 corse has an alluminium fuel tank. i missed that in the official blurb
I know. But I'll have all the sexy add on bits to sell separately if I chop in for an R... (or indeed, swap them over to the R) Man maths my man, man maths. You must remember this kind of shit in case you have to explain to the Mrs.
