  8. I'd make sure family was ok.
Tie up loose ends sell everything except the bikes.
Ship my bikes and get on a plane .
get a place not in the middle of nowhere but not in the middle of town.
Get a dog and leave everything behind and make a clean start.
    Minimal belongings and fresh air.
Nobody would know me and that would suit me fine now.

  9. I see the great North South divide is still alive and kicking ;)
    Quote the above :)
"Nice house for me and three to rent out. Mortgage free and extra income would allow me to do so much more.
Let me see, four houses for £500,000 would be £125,000 each. So these would be pretty small houses in a pretty crap area, I take it?"

Welcome to Ipswich ... Home of the grim.
Why do you think I want to leave.
Brought up in Surrey burbs ...
    end up in this dump.

  10. would get nice terraced cottages in nice villages in notts /leicestershire, one across the road was up for sale a while ago £115, 4 doors up from it was a 6 bedroom georgian house that changed hands for £900k recently, if this your definition of a crap area maybe its time to get a passport and venture outside of the M25

  11. I'd get out of a terraced house .. I'm end of ..
fantastic until this woman moved in.
now it's like Chinese water torture.
you can move into a great terrace.
But it takes one person to ruin it sadly :(

  12. A house for £115? That would be a bargain anywhere.

  13. I'd pay bills and mortgage, treat family, and, for me, get a road going JHP Pierobon X60R :upyeah:

    (Btw, 1/2 Mill pounds is NZ$ 1 Mill )

  14. Not in Wolverhampton it wouldn't.

  15. possibly not, its been for sale for several years and no takers, think its got tenants in it at present or the owner is still there

  16. Hell, you can't even get much here in Milton Keynes for that. You need to budget about £160,000 - £180,000 for a 3 bed terrace or semi with a garage in an ok ish area here. Appartments aren't much cheaper

  17. God maybe I should move... some of the new built apartments in Cambridge go for about £210k for a studio flat

  18. And obviously they're worth that

  19. Of course the reason it's so dear down here is we have all the fit women and all the work...

  20. Now you put it like that......
