Taking the Hyper out of the garage this morning, lost my footing and tipped it into the garage door... Door 1 Ducati mirror 0... Poop, bad start to the day. On the plus side it could've been worse, fortunately the mirror and a nasty nick on the hand guard was the only damage. Went to the local Ducati dealer after work to order a replacement mirror and as luck would have it they happened to have one in stock. Then got caught in the rain coming home. Not too bad, but the Hyper was seriously filthy Weekend will mean washing and fitting new mirror... Could be worse

After stumbling into my first Alcoholic Anonymous meeting this afternoon, I sat down and said, "Hello, I'm Ron and I'm an alcoholic." "Are you drunk right now?" asked some guy. "Yes," I slurred. "Thought so," he replied, "Cos, this is a Mosque."
I had a very good meeting with a banker. Which makes a change. Tomorrow I've got a seminar in Sheffield. And it starts at 8am ffs
Went to my local Job-Centre earlier, to see if they had anything for me. The girl behind the desk said, 'We have a few positions in Data Entry ?" 'Sorry,' I replied, 'But I can't use a computer.' 'You can't use a computer - in this day and age? - are you mentally handicapped or something? 'No,' I replied - It was one of the Judge’s bail conditions
Finished 10 weeks of night work in a chilled warehouse at 1.00am this morning followed by a drive home from Brum and crawled into bed around 3.30 Up at 8.30 and into work to sort out paperwork for tomorrow's job near Tamworth. Got round to the old man's house late morning drained central heating removed blocked radiator and spent next half hour in the garden with hose and rubber mallet getting it to flow properly. Re fitted rad filled system including flushing chemical, bled and balanced all the rads so just got to go back drain and flush out whole lot, neutralise and fill with inhibitor which should be him sorted for winter. Then up to bro in law to get puncture repaired. Finally sat down just before 7.. Looking forward to a good sleep tonight.
Left home this morning at 6.30am to get to Sheffield for a breakfast meeting at 8am. Then a 4 hour seminar on doing business with China. Then a couple of meetings in Sheffield before coming home at 4pm with a severe cricked neck (no idea how that happened but it hurts like hell). I normally go climbing on Wednesday evenings. Not a chance with this cricked neck.
If only! I've got this weekend - hopefully playing on Sat if weather is half OK or better then working every weekend up til 17th Dec with more night work away in between. Next year looking like it's going the same way with night work away from home, it's crap but ultimately it keeps me in a job so have to suffer it and hope for more conventional hours eventually.
