OK confusion (mine at least) over. Moto Rapido have confirmed that the Akra system shown is the full Race system exactly as on the Speciale. It will fit on the Base and S models and utilizes a different heatshield for the rear cylinder header pipes and a open/slash bellypan. There is a silencer kit for the S or Base models which retains the stock heatshield but utilizes a different bellypan. Not clear if the bellypans shown come with either of these systems or is an additional cost
Sincerely hope the belly pan is part of the SP kit but based on the D16RR GP7 exhaust kit, it should. Andy
Speak to MrC he's got some 1098R wheels on his 1199, needs a 5mm spacer on the front for the disc offset from what I recall.

Seems odd that there are no official shots, on the current website at least, from the left hand side of the bike. It's like they're being coy, even their shots of the tail and/or the accessories pictures are limited just capturing the good side. When you see the left side exhaust in that MCN video it's a hell of a lot different to the right. The engine also appears to be set over to the left as well from the rear, so much so they acknowledge it sticks out far enough to warrant a cover on one side but not the right where it appears to be tucked away inside the sub frame........ Ducati trying to give the impression the bike is smaller than it is?
Take a look at the exhaust pictures that MotoRapido posted Mutt. It's an assymetric system so the left hand silencer sits lower than the right. Same is true with the slip ons Akra will offer. The full system costs an eye watering US$5.7K though! But for that it does shave off 8kg and boosts an S or a base model to 226bhp. There are a number of videos on Youtube that show in detail the left side of the bike. SS have already sold 11 V4s....4 Speciales and 7 Base/S models. I might add to that list but not until I've seen it at the NEC as no amount of 2D images are going to give a prospective buyer a real sense of how it looks.
