Still toying with the idea of different frame colours. Magnesium maybe or black? Any preferences? Have to say the magnesium breaks it up a bit. Hate the stock silver colour.
Is that a good thing? Do people want to ride around on men? Not that there's anything wrong with that. With this haircut, I'm in no position to make judgements.
Depends on the individual I guess. For me fast and track riding is like 'war', don't ask me how or why as I don't know, or understand, what happens inside my brain when the visor comes down but it does. So for me yeah a more masculine looking SBK is a good thing as its looks reflect its use in a much more fitting manner.
Ooh, dilemma, do I phone or do I wait for their email Mmmmm, not sure about the very obvious (too obvious?) contrast with the Ohlins. Andy
Phone mate, then at least you have some notice for contingency planning, might be too late already but some good peeps could do their best to source you one. Time is/was of the essence.
@Topolino Haha what's going on? Do you keep repainting the bike in the hope that you'll eventually like its looks?
I know. I was only making a shit joke. I'm in a bit of a funny mood, sorry. I think it my breakfast gin may have been off.
No not really Air Duck. Just not a lover of the silver slab down the side. Looks too much like a Jap bike frame member. Black lessens the smack in your face appearance and magnesium ties it in with the castings on the bike. Never been one to leave a bike bog standard.
Yeah I know you what you mean about not being able to leave stuff alone, it's a curse! Deffo black IMO, that mag colour just makes it look even more piecemeal.
That lessens the black coolant hose exposed by the gap in the fairing....... That would also have a nice contrast to the white on the Speciale, if you're boarded?
Because I'm told that is what the optional wheels are for the Speciale. If you could coerce them to sell you the 1299SL ones for that price, I'd bite their hand off! Saying that, your bike is going to look great with these fitted.
