Not seen a Foggy for sale for ages now. Everyone seems to be holding on to them so no idea what one would fetch now - especially taking into account a Senna has just sold close to £20k

 

You sound like an honest kind of chap to buy off.

 

A chap at my work has one. I believe its coming up for sale.

They were expensive new and took almost two years to sell. mine was registered in 2000. I think they where around £20-£21K

DMC Preston have one on display not theirs and not for sale, they have been offered £25000 for it, but offer was rejected as it's not for sale.

 

ouch, they were expensive then, hadn't a clue what they would have cost, worth a few bob now, cheers

 

My SPS was £17500 in 99, a Foggy rep was £2000 more at the time. Had to pay Foggys wages somehow

 

List price on the 916 fogarty replica was £20,500 .
Expensive bike for 1998 !!!

 

The bike became available for sale in July 1998 with an RRP of £21650 plus on road charges of £350. In addition, Moto Cinelli expected the bikes not to be discounted due to expected demand with no parrallel imports.

It's marked as sold on their site?

They offered me £24k for mine a couple of months a go....similar mileage/history/condition....if they paid the same for this one, not a bad mark up!!!!

 

£1,000 of ever Foggy rep did actually go to Foggy himself.....so you are correct!!

I mean 20k odd and it only came with Showa forks! Is that what Foggy was using at the time?

@JoeC Ah got ya mate! Yeah mental foggy using ohlins on his race bike but mere mortals only got showa forks.
