Ducati/VR era officially over!

  1. I await the first VR/JB interviews now the ducati gagging orders are now removed!

    This will be interesting ?

  2. Dont see them being too nasty. We shall see though

  3. who gives a damm......itll all be Ducatis fault they didnt do what i asked they didnt listen to me.

  4. Be nice if he said exactly what is wrong with the bike other than say he 'didn't get a good feeling from it'.

  5. The shoe may be on the other foot, Ducati might be the ones to come out and say 'fook me that rossi lad is Reet crap at development, glad the fookers gone cos he's shit slow and fooking moans a lot '

obviously that'd be from the new Yorkshire based PR fella they've employed :)

  6. There was an interview with JB in Performance Bikes a few months back. Interesting read, which basically said that they knew what was wrong and asked the factory for help. According to JB, the Factory then took months to get the changes/parts etc. He said they were running pretty much the same bike in Mugello that was run in Qatar at the start of the season
But yes it will be interesting to see what they say and my money will be VR and JB saying it was all Ducatis fault

  7. I dont think we can be too hard on Rossi, Its not like the bike did any better in anyone elses hands. The harsh reality is it was a dog.

  8. I think Rossi will let his riding do the talking in the main. He may not be the guy he once was, but certainly he will be vying for podiums and the occasional win. Let's wait and see. Meanwhile I would expect there to be serious graft going on back at Ducati; the sad thing being if they succeed in producing a competitive bike, that'll make Rossi look bad too. For my part I just want to see him riding competitively again before he moves on.

  9. apart from winning a world championship..........

  10. When it had a clear speed advantage...

  11. ah, perhaps they should of slowed it down then..........you know even things up a bit, how unfair having a better bike than the others.....

  12. Ah! So you admit Stoner had a better bike when he won the championship then!

  13. Didnt think the bikes rossi were on had anything in common with the gp7 other than a ducati badge

  14. oh yeah he just buzzed them down the straight, walked it around the bend and then buzzed them down the straight again...

  15. that kinda flies in the face of the constant story that the bike was never altered they wouldnt listen to him blah blah blah

TBH they only had to build a dog as they were working on the theory of its 90% the rider rather than the bike(cant remember who said that:rolleyes:)

  16. More a case of 90% of riders can't ride it, which is why Dovi won't do much. Seems only aussies can get to grips with it...

  17. Really? Thought the bike stoner won the championchip on had a frame ducati understood and a big electronic advantage thst the japs had not thought of. My bad, i bow to your obvious knowledge of the inner workings of ducati corse(i can do sarcasm to)

  18. Yes it was sarcasm......too! Now who changed the bike then......or was the fix it in ten minutes quote then thats appropriate,......

  19. The guy now "moved upstairs" changed the bike, miss that bit? He changed it when your hero was still on it and it was shit then. Kinda pointless talkin to people like you anyways

  20. JB... Ducati clueless on using data collected from riders feedback.
M Furasawa.. VR was the best rider i have ever worked with to make the m1 what it still is today..it is VRs bike.
Ducati made big mistakes on design and engineering rider feedback.
