the job i do now : Making sure the needed nursing capacity is being built, starting them up, hiring and running staff and taking care of people that depend on us for their wellbeing... it has it all.. finding land, getting permits, drawing plans, financing them, building them and being involved with a lot of people... seeing that everyone is content... it' s hard work but it's also hard to beat...
Being voted in as the only female litho printer in a total male closed shop. You get a lot of female print finishers but printers no .. Mans world well used to be !!! They excepted me !!! Great guys Where I am now working with children with learning difficulties and Autism and ASD and Aspergers . They make my day !!!! Never a dull moment.. Everything's a challenge but I love it. I have full artistic license. Sadly need more pay now More hours. Applied for another job same stuff but organising an office. Admin and calls. Still designing and making but less then now. But admin loads more More travelling. Not much contact with pupils. I need to negotiate maybe see if I can get an extra day at work which would mean more in situ working with pupils. But now HR rule the hours not the school My worst job lasted weeks age 17 Working at a laundry in Swindon ! Tagging up dirty items before they got laundered . We had to wear some gear like gloves . Press the item in a machine that printed its label . You had ordinary people's stuff You would not believe !!!!! But the worst was sorting surgeons greens from airbases. Blood and all sorts. Had a few incidences with dirty syringes in with the greens Never got stuck. And local Indian restaurant napkins and table cloths . They would leave them for ages so by the time they reached us full of maggots ! You got a very good Bonus if you where up to speed . All the overtime you wanted. Lovely Christmas hamper each. I stuck it for a few weeks til I got back into printing. Not a job if your squeamish. Never again!!!

Was that Alpha Audio owned by the quite famous comedian who the police wanted to have a word with very recently, did a couple of trade shows years ago when he was there, one minute he'd be laughing and joking the next minute flying into a rage over god knows what Can't say whether it's the best job I've had but in recent years I have probably worked in every lap dancing bar in Leeds & surrounding areas, servicing the sound & light equipment. Audition time is always entertaining
