Past bikes you really miss...

  1. And why are they no longer with you.

    1) My old GPz 550. My first full restoration, and used to belong to my dad before I got my grubbies on it. Tired when I got hold of it, very very nice when it went to the breaker in the sky. Rear ended in a queue of traffic one sunny june morning in 2011. Cat B total loss (frame, rear wheel and swing arm all bent, and every body panel smashed)

  3. Gorgeous old YDS7 there, interesting diversion too, my brother had one after passing his test, he loved it. :)

  4. The YDS was one of about 200.
the normal colour is gold and black.

the little diversion was a reliable and nice to ride however the lack of luggage space was the killer.
I do try and look after my bikes so it does hurt a little to see them elsewhere looking unloved.
My monsters are not perfect as my storage situation is not ideal but I do my best.

  5. I know what you mean. My bikes tend to het steadily improved until they are at the point I won't ride them in anything less than perfect weather. I have promised myself the CBR won't go that way, so I can use it more.

  6. I have a rat CG that I ride in dire weather and short runs ..
