  1. Beatles, playing my way through a 8 LP box set. Up to #6 now, Sgt Peppers/Magical Mystery tour. Mate of mine(Dave888), ex pat living in Oz brought it over. Mint condition EMI records made for Readers Digest. There's slighly different mixes on some tracks apparently.

  4. Vinyl? Be very careful with those. And check on-line, just on the off-chance that it's a small fortune you are rubbing your worn out old phono needle against. :upyeah:

  12. All that Iron Maiden talk, and the era, prompted a viewing of Judas Priest's "Turbo Lover" and "Breaking the Law" on YouTube.

    Astonishing - the budget for each video must have been around 87 pence (I know, I know, a lot of money in those days....).

  20. Yes they are an excellent band I have seen them about 6 times so far & continue doing so as long as they keep touring...the best they ever put was the Somewhere Back in Time Tour in 2008 that was nothing but the old stuff from 1991 & earlier songs!
