in happier news, whilst out in about in Portsmouth I spied this for £1.50 in a book shop. its a repro but I wanted it 30 years ago and couldn't find anyone to ship it to NZ for me. It's the hard back graphic novel of slaine the horned god the featured in the weekly 2000ad mag. Chuffed
Well I did, but it was very disappointing. I had two that were edible out of half a kilo. SWMBO is taking the rest back to the greengrocer tomorrow as they weren't cheap.
Bit groggy today, lack of sleep. So whilst downing an expresso to try and wake up I'm watching the news as you do and the little rolling news bar at the bottom of the screen is rolling with news and one of the reports is, "thousands of travellers trapped in Bali" My first thought is, how on earth did they get so many caravans there???
Almost finished kitting my home office out after a late trip to Ikea yesterday for a desk. Now just need to gloss the sills and radiator (wife’s job) and get some office desk organiser rubbish and we’re away. Then evidenwhere the TV is going on what wall, and where the PS4 will go for those leisure evenings... Some fella moaning this morning about being stuck there. Given its Bali, and probably all covered by insurance, thought a bit OTT
A few weeks ago SWMBO bought tickets for us to see Chris Ramsey in Leeds tomorrow night. She now can't find the flipping tickets. Stupid bint.
Oh she's been trawling her email account and all likely ticketing sites. So far she's found the square root of fuck all. I despair.
You could just stay in and watch him on the telly, he's always on some cooking or hotel from hell type thing. despair sorted.
My next door neighbour has had the London A-Z Atlas tattooed on his back. He's always been a bit of a weirdo, but at least you know where you are with him
