Hi; new to the forum this evening Anyone having a problem safely supporting their 748 or similar when wanting to work such as wheel removal, chain and sprockets, swingarm work; shocker removal etc? Just built this stand today which solves the problem. Lift your bike on a normal rear paddock stand, slide the workshop stand underneath and push in the support pins into the frame lugs, then the paddock stand can be removed. Just wondering if there is enough interest for me to make a batch. The sliding pins would be locked in place with a securing pin and the stand could be powder coated for that professional look. Let me know Thanks for viewing
Hi mate. Nice idea. Have you thought about extending the front part? Then if you made a support for the front cylinder, you could have the whole bike up in the air. Cheers, ian
Hi, just a prototype but the stand will also fit the front frame lugs and I think this will be far enough forward to support the front end if you wished to remove the front wheel , forks etc
The ABBA stand does the same job and it's so easy to lift the bike without any other stands, the only way to sell them is if they are quite a bit cheaper. Only my opinion though. Steve
